5. Evaluate the importance of the Seven Years war.
The Effects of the Seven Year War
The Seven Years' War is often called the French and Indian War. It had effects on Native Americans, particularly those in Ohio River and the Mississippi River regions. Many of these tribes actively participated in the war and chose sides. After the war, the Ohio Valley tribes lost a powerful ally in France, and therefore their ability to counteract English colonial intrusions into their territories.
Seven Years' War took place between 1754 and 1763 with the main conflict being in the seven-year period 1756–1763.
